Life Cross - Introduction

Introduction

This serves to inform the reader of the Life Cross Objective and the various functions and services of the Life Cross Trust, Care Center, Youth Center and Outreach program.

The objective of the Life Cross Trust as a whole is to uplift the community, with special attention given to the needy and the youth.
The Life Cross Vision IS uplifting the less fortunate, however it needs and will rely on monthly or yearly donations to keep it open. The money generated at present is not nearly enough to cover these costs.

Long Term Goal

Long Term goal include the setting up of satellite facilities throughout the gold and platinum mining industry in South Africa.
Financially viable clinics, safe house and care center's will be established or supported in particularly needy communities.

Primary Objectives

To provide shelter, food, clothing, healthcare, counseling and training for:
Orphaned, vulnerable and abused children
Abused woman and there children
Vulnerable families
Vulnerable elderly people
Those effected by HIV/AIDS
Persons requiring rehabilitation from drug and alcohol abuse

To facilitate skills training and assist the community in providing alternate employment opportunities in this district

To assist in setting up self supporting family based villages

The trust will co-operate with the community to ensure that there is no unnecessary duplication of the facilities and wherever practical support existing facilities

Criteria for Eligibility

There will be no bias that will infringe upon a person basic human rights, including ethnic group, gender religious or political
affiliation. The center's will, within there capability be open to vulnerable, sick and needy babies, children, woman and men
from the surrounding area and to indigent families.

Governing Body

The Board of trustees from business, the medical profession and the clergy has been appointed to guide and control the various activities
according to GOD's will.

External auditor's have been appointed to ensure financial integrity
